Dude if I wanted to post the thread or name of MOD I could had done it in my first post itself.

Problem is, its super secret business, so we all don't really know anything.

Though I have to say, I've never seen an instance where Krikit was unfair. Linky time!

It's not super secret. If you are involved in the thread you know it happens. Otherwise, I don't think it matters.

I have never been banned by another MOD other than just one particular MOD. :)

Well, that's your experience. I've seen plenty of posters thread banned by other mods than Krikit.

Been on VJ since 2004 and as time goes on, 1 thing I have noticed---Need more cheese with ur w(h)ine!! Ignore the rude people and they will go away!! Keep posting, your just feeding them!!

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied, that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

Sorry I don't write on the internet to your standards, lol I read a fair bit on the other forums, just do not participate in them.

I hope some people here would remember that even if VJ is a public forum it still have its TOS. some people here are rude and think that since this is a public forum, they can say whatever they want, not to mention, being rude and insulting other people esp if the person does not agree to their opinion.

I have noticed some are starting to act "as if they know everything" and if you don't agree to their answer they would then reply to u in a rude way.

Some would post here and ask for an advice and then some will start insulting the person (bec they didn't like his/her post) who asked for an advice until the OP will start posting a message saying not to judge him/her, etc...

Some would mock on those people who's English is not really good (as if they want to be an English teacher), not to mention, VJ has a lot of members from all over the world where English is not their primary language.

If I read something that I do not like, instead of leaving nasty comments, better just leave and go find another thread.

I had learned my lesson after having an argument with someone few months ago who is just simply a rude person and has narrow-mind. After that, I stopped using VJ for a month or two.

Some does not care what the others would feel. We can't really please everyone

I just hope some people remembers the word respect. Thank you.

If you are having a problem with a particular post, use the report button in the lower left corner of every post.

I agree everyone's levels of expertise are different, and some members who didn't know anything a few weeks ago are suddenly experts on every issue encountered here, even those that have no experience themselves yet with that part of their journey. Sometimes it is best just to back off, and research the subject offsite a little more, before getting back in the fray. Personally, I learn something new every time I browse the forums, and hopefully, I can remember it long enough to pass it on to the next member with a similar question.

Can we get clarification about what constitutes a TOS violation under the new rules? I asked this question in another thread but the thread has been closed. This is a genuine request that I think would benefit everyone by having a public response. Greater clarity ultimately means less work for the mods and the admin.

you agree that when using the Service, you will not:

...

Post any mature or adult content including full nudity pornographic images, videos, Strategically covered nudity, Sheer or see-through clothing, Lewd or provocative poses, pornographic cartoons or anime (hentai/ecchi).

Sounds pretty straight-forward to me, other than the confusing use of capital letters mid-sentence. It clearly emphasizes the posting of 'mature or adult' images/video over the posting of similar text. I think we all recognize an adult or mature image when we see one.

A bikini is not full nudity, but people in bikinis have been removed. A fully clothed woman is not nudity, yet was removed. A woman's legs are not nudity, but was removed. So, not clear at all. I don't even know what hentai or ecchi is.

I suggested to Ewok in PM that this is a US website, moderated by people who live in the US. The site follows US legal regulations. Thus, I think using a general US standard for nudity would be the most straight forward and understandable to people. We have clear regulations for daytime broadcast television, something children just turn on, which are rather conservative compared to other countries, and they are recognizable to US people. Same standard goes for billboards and the like.

The site already basically had these standards, though there were a few eye candy threads that toed the line with thong bikinis (though I will say in its defense, no frontal nudity). Those are gone. Anything else is overboard.

And, as a final thought, to prove that the photos were never the problem in the first place, last night I got an ad that said I could "spend my twilight years with a charming woman from China." That is clearly from google reading threads, not from images.

It's not hosted in the US though.

As for women in bikinis, that could be seen as lewd or provocative. I know certain images of women in bikinis will provoke a physiological response in me every time. Therefore, they're provocative.

An individual's individual response does not define a provocative image. Imagine the floodwall that would open if it did. It is legal to wear a bikini in public and it can be shown on broadcast tv. It has not been shocking or unusual for over 50 years.
