The family friendly push was their way to push out the sub forum. They do not want us around unless we play nice at all times.

With all the recent account closings, I would like to ask if there is a current initiative to eliminate the current events and hot social topics and off topic sub forums. If this is the goal, at least let us know so that we may plan a move to another site that would be more open to the historical discourse of these two subforums. It's a little frustrating to see people you've enjoyed debating/arguing/yelling at disappear forever with no real way to continue future discussion. This isn't just me complaining as I'm sure some folks violated tos but it seems a little targeted. Just be up front with us, is the goal to move away from non-immigration discussion altogether or just heated political/societal debate? And yes I'm aware of the family friendly push, but the impact of that on non-sexual content has been exactly transparent. I would appreciate an up front response, thanks.

I agree with the post that recommended we ensure that mods or myself reply to the topic indicating the reason a thread was closed or why items removed.

They sometimes do this already, by quoting a section of the TOS that a post violated.

However, they don't always say how the offending post violated that section of TOS. And no, it is not always clear.

Can we get an opinion on the banned word sticky?

I wanted to get some advice on stock from Quanzhou Nanan Chicom Electronics in OT…but I hear that Visa Journey doesn't like that company because its racist….towards itself I guess?

I checked out their website. Check out their logo at the bottom of their page.

I have had posts removed and a reason given, but I don't agree with the reason. Some people are a tad too sensitive in my opinion.

But it's still ok to judge, insult, belittle, be sarcastic and condescending in the upper forums, so I don't think it's a family friendly push.
