When is the best time to call the NVC?

Hi VJ's..wanna ask anyone who may have idea. When in the day US time ( california time ) is it best to give the NVC a call. We will follow up if they already have a MNL# for us. Which is best to call the NVC or the Stae Department?? Thanks for the help :D

They are backed up right now... I see you have a Jul 18 NOA2... You may want to wait 15 business days before calling, as that is all they will robotic ally tell you anyway...

I called so often, they actually blocked my land-line from there system. NP, I have a cell phone too! hehe

To answer your question, my experience was, during business hours, you may wait 5-15 minutes, after 5 pm pacific, 2-5 minutes was my wait time.

hi! with my experienced last july 28,2011 about 9:30 am phil time i called nvc and i just waited for less than 1 minute to operator become available.she was nice and after i gave her my WAC number she said that they just received my file that day.Then 10pm same date i received an email from nvc with my manila case number already....

I used to call very early in the morning, at around 7:30 a.m. (EST) or late at night, 11-11:30 p.m. (EST). I found that the people working the night shift were nicer and more thorough than the stressed out agents you some times get in the morning. Just an observation.

09/27/09 - Approved

10/01/09 - Received 10 year green card

U.S. Citizenship

03/30/11 - N-400 sent via Priority Mail w/ delivery confirmation

05/12/11 - Biometrics

07/20/11 - Interview - passed

07/20/11 - Oath ceremony - same day as interview
