NVC first has to accept your DS-3032. Then after a few days of acceptance, the IV bill is invoiced.

They accepted it today!

Now just waiting for the IV bill to be generated.

Another thing...When can I go to have my medical? Do I have to wait for a signal from NVC for it?

Thanks Saylin :star:

If they accepted it today, it'll probably be invoiced sometime next week. But lately NVC has been a bit backlogged, so it could be longer.

And the Philippines is eligible for an advance medical, so you can do it right away. You just need to bring proof of your case number, ie the first email you got from NVC that included your case number and IIN.

No problem! :)

If you have any questions (now or later) about the advance medical, I'd suggest posting it in the Philippines sub-forum as you'll get much better answers there.

I paid AOS fee on 7/26 (still in process) but my IV fee that just became available yesterday (7/28) and paid late evening became PAID. Cant understand what the issue with AOS fee status. My accont was debit already on 7/26 and 7/28. Should I be bothered or wait till Monday to conatct NVC!

I just someone else in another thread where they paid AOS first and then IV later, and the IV bill just appeared as PAID. So you're not the first person. I'd say wait a few days, but if it doesn't appear as PAID by mid-next week, then definitely call and see what's up. They might just be backlogged for AOS, who knows. Lately NVC has been really slow with a lot of things (assigning case number, accepting DS-3032, invoicing bills, etc).

i send ds3032 ,can i send i864 now or wait for nvc ,i have another question my husband don't have birth certificate right now he is gonna get soon can i send i864 without birth certificate .

thank you

1. First you need to pay AOS fee and then after the fee status is changed to "PAID", you will be to print a cover sheet with barcode, whcih is needed to send I-864 packet. So check if your AOS bill is available to be paid at https://ceac.state.gov/CTRAC/Invoice/signon.aspx.

2. Your husband (I guess he is the foreign spouse or beneficiary) Birth certficate is needed while filing DS-230 and no Birth certficate is needed with I-864 packet. Please read http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3197.html.

3. You will need Original or Certified copy of Birth Certifcate of the Beneficiary and Original or Certified copy of Marraige, Police Clearance certificate... Read http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3190.html.

  • Did you get an automated message from NVC in response to your email!
  • AOS fee has nothing to do with DS-3032 - once you case is fully entered, you will get to pay AOS fee (you will also get an email from NVC)
  • Once DS-3032 is acceppted and entered into their system, IV fee will be available to paid (you will first get an email indicating that Ds-3032 is approved) and then when IV fee is available to be paid.
  • The Payment web site generally a day ahead of the NVC email correspondence, so check it daily https://ceac.state.gov/CTRAC/Invoice/signon.aspx
