My wife received a new update today stating she had been scheduled for an interview. Supposedly she will receive her notice by mail within 14 days indicating the time and place.

Hi everyone,

I just received an update that my case was placed in line for interview scheduling, so I hope that it will be done soon. I guess it takes around 2 weeks before the next update to show up, right??. I guess I did good to go for early bio, my actual appointment is on wednesday. Also I noticed that things are quiet with other New York city applicants, what's going on guys?? any news??.

well I hope to have my interview on November, so I can plan my vacation for January.

My wife got the email update on Sept. 30 and received the interview letter Oct. 3, four days. Good luck!

My guess is that it takes about 6 - 8 weeks after the biometrics appt before New Yorkers get their interviews scheduled (based on the other monthly N400 threads). I had my bio appt about a month ago, got the same interview schedule queue update but haven't heard anything since.

08/05/2010 - Check cashed

11/13/2010 - I-751 Approval Letter received

I get excited yesterday upon receiving my interview & test letter. My schedule will be on November 7. Thank you Lord, it's getting closer to everything. Soon i'll be done of all of this paper works.

For the rest, i'm sure you will be getting yours too soon. We all just be patient. God Bless us all.

I am a september filer from NYC ,I know this is an august thread but just wanted to check with some August filers from NYC.. how much time did it take to get a notification from the USCIS that you have been place in line for interview after your finger prints were taken ? I did my FP on 09/28/2011 and have not received any update , I will appreciate if someone shares his / her story.. Thanks !!

Look at the timelines we are not getting interview letters either, especially East Coast.

Call USCIS, ask for 2nd level IO to check if your FP were classifiable/readable. You can call FBI to ask the same question.

Have your NBC#, A# and SS# handy.

It might be that FP were rejected and you will need to have them re-done or it might very well be that smb didn't update the system and you are not seeing msg about being put in Q for interveiw.

Had Fingerprints yesterday and received text message today about being placed in line for interview. Should have gone in in early for the FP, from the looks things it can place you in line earlier for interview.
