Hi Everyone,

We have our K1 interview on August 23rd @ 8:45 at the embassy in Lima, however my fiance could only get an appointment for his medical on the 18th and the dr. needs 4 days to get the results back. Therefore we won't have his medical results at the time of the interview. Has anyone had this happen to them? Is it still ok to go to the interview? We really can't move the interview date since i got my plane ticket to go down already and leave the 24th.

Any advice? THANKS VJers

I'd email/call the embassy and let them know this. I've read of cases here like this (not in Peru) where they did the interview but withheld the visa until they recieved the medical results and reviewed them.

Don't worry, they will tell her to send the medical results when they are ready... :thumbs:

10-24-2012: AOS, EAD, AP Sent

11-04-2012: NOA1 AOS, EAD, AP

11-06-2012: Biometrics App Letter

11-16-2012: My baby boy was born

11-19-2012: Biometrics Appointment

12-29-2012: AP Approved

01-04-2013: EAD Approved

01-10-2013: Combo Card Arrived
