Depends on your local office, but there are people who receive it within 2 weeks after receiving their NOA and others (like me) who have not received it yet and it has been around 4 weeks...

If 30 days pass and you do not receive it, you can call the 800 number and place a service request (this is what I am going to do next week)....

N-400 Naturalization Timeline

06/28/11 .. Mailed N-400 package via Priority mail with delivery confirmation

06/30/11 .. Package Delivered to Dallas Lockbox

07/06/11 .. Received e-mail notification of application acceptance

07/06/11 .. Check cashed

07/08/11 .. Received NOA letter

07/29/11 .. Received text/e-mail for biometrics notice

08/03/11 .. Received Biometrics letter - scheduled for 8/24/11

08/04/11 .. Walk-in finger prints done.

08/08/11 .. Received text/e-mail: Placed in line for interview scheduling

09/12/11 .. Received Yellow letter dated 9/7/11

09/13/11 .. Received text/e-mail: Interview scheduled

09/16/11 .. Received interview letter

10/19/11 .. Interview - PASSED

HI EVERYBODY

I am getting ready to send n400 package.my question ,after receiving my package, is how long it takes them to send me a note telling me to have fingerinting ?

When I did my citizenship last year, right before Thanksgiving I sent my N400 package to INS and had my fingerprints done on December 23, 2010. The interview was on February 3rd, 2011 and I had the Oath Ceremony on February 18th, 2011. So, it went pretty fast!!! Good luck!!!

Thank you for the responses...

Just before i send my n-400 pakage i want to know what are the main and the useful documents the USCIS ask for so that i can have no delay or have something missing...??

Hopefully before December 21, 2012 when the world is suppose to end, but guess it won't make any difference anyway. But we did make it through Y2K. What does make a difference in biometrics is to how neatly and organized your N-400 application is. How are we suppose to know that? Also these government folks get lots of vacation, holidays, and medical leave time. Applying in early November with Thanksgiving, Christmas, if I am allowed to use that word, and New Years, really slows down the process. Also the summer months.

No one seems to post whether they are applying for the three year marriage or five year. That makes a huge difference in giving advice.
