Ok, I dont speak spanish and am begging someone with some knowledge of this to help me with some info.

Our doctor originally thot our family had scabies, but we have been fighting for all we are worth with skin problems, washing, cleaning, washing, cleaning over and over and have still to get rid of it. (In 8 months)

I have been seeing all these tiny lil fly like creatures that are like gnats, and they are NOT fruit flies, and am suspecting strongly they might be the Brazilian Phorid fly. I am reading (with horror) that these have been released in the US to kill the fire ants, BUT that they can ALSO INFECT PEOPLE?

Please, anyone from Brazil have any knowledge of these tiny lil flies and if they DO bite? Or what kills them, what you need to do to get rid of them, etc? Or are they totally harmless and dont even bite people?

I don't know much about the "Brazilian Phorid Fly" but...

Brazilians speak Portuguese, not spanish.

from what i've read, they are not that much of an issue unless you have stuff around that attracts flies anyways. see the link for info

Well, they look a LOT like a small bot fly to me, and we sure have a lot of "something", yet no regular flies.

And sorreeeee, Portuguese.

Its one theory by some folks that have this "mystery" bug, that since our diet is so lacking in acidophilis, etc, we are prone to yeast/fungi infections, and this in turn attracts these lil flies to use people as a host.

Since its predominant in Texas, and Florida, where they have been released, it makes one wonder.
