Hello VJers, So I have made the whole package up and sent to my fiance in New Zealand for his interview, alot of originals, Receipts, photos, I-864 and I-134 and all proving documents from myself and my co sponsor. Now it has been 10 days and he hasnt recieved it. I cant believe this, I have copies of some stuff but not of everything, now I am scrumaging for the info again. It has been easy sailing so far, so hopefully this is only one bump in the road :( So upset!

How did you send it to NZ? Express mail? If not allow up to 14 days as my mail to OZ takes 10 to 14 days to get there. For K1 you only needed 134 too so not sure why you sent 864 as that is for AOS.

Divorced !st November 2012.

Married only 2 years 1 month

I sent it priority mail, have used it several times now through this process and the package has arrived within 7 day, so I hoping you are right. I sent the I-134, but we did send the I-864 because some where along this journey we heard since you have to file the I-864 anyway you should go ahead and use it, but I sent it just for percautionary measures, we were going to either use the one we have for his interview or just fill a new one for AOS interview. this whole process can get confusing and we just want to be prepared and up till now we have been.

From my experience, packages sent Priority can often take longer to be delivered than First Class mail. This seems especially true for anything sent Priority that is larger than a thin envelope. I've had Priority packages take longer than 10 days so I wouldn't worry yet.

I just sent a package (box - 4.2lbs) (not related to Visa in any way) to Benjamin on June 29th - it took until July 21st to get there. It left the US on July 1st. New Zealand is running a bit slow on their end of mail delivery. The package was supposed to take 7-10 days and took nearly a month. Sorry. Hope it gets there soon though.

It took package exactly 14 days to arrive, Thank Goodness, i was in a panic, from now on I suggest spending the money on express mail, we go through way to much for this paper work to be late or disappear!

Glad it didn't take too long. I'm waiting for Ben's paperwork (been almost 2 weeks) to arrive here so that I can FINALLY ship it off and get started. They lost 2/returned them to him after 8 weeks of waiting/being lsot. So we're becoming impatient. Lol.
