A salam wualikum VJ Friends, Especially those going thru Morocco,

Well, after 3 months of AP, we are finally out! I sent Casa an email asking if it was Visa Time yet, and they replied that my fiance is scheduled for an interview next week.

What do ya'll think. Do we dare hope they will issue a visa? And he has to come clear from the other end of the country. Counting Dr's appt., and 1st interview, this will be his third trip.

Would love some feedback.

Trying not to go crazy before next week!

How come he is having another interview? Or do you mean he just has an appointment to go pick it up?

My fingers are crossed for you! Good luck I wish you the best!

TEll us about the interview? And why no review I think that everyone should update there timelines, we are here to help each other and I am looking at the timeslines and people just get the information they want and leave. I think I will start a post. I pray that you have a good interview and when are you going, your timeline say you already went. Please tell us how it went?? We go in October; I am bitting my nails. Happy to know of the interview but I am concerned about things. Anyway, I wish you the best and I will make du'aa for you.

I'm with Sarah as I'm not really sure if you mean he has an interview or he is going to go pick up his visa. No matter what, I do wish you the best of luck.

Congratulations, Susan. I am so happy for you. I pray that this will finally bring you two together again. I know it has been a long and difficult road for you and you deserve some happiness. I will be praying for you. Please let me know what the interview was like. Abderrazzk went for his medical today and all was good. God willing we will both be with our partners soon. Best wishes for success and happiness.

Wow I didn't realize you'd already had your first interview, much less the rest.

Please fill in the details, as they could help others very much -- when was the 1st interview, what reason was cited for the 221g, and what day next week is your 2nd interview ? (We want to cheer you on !)

Wishing you the best of luck in everything -- hopefully the 2nd time will be the charm !

Do you think there was possibly anything missing from the first interview that Casa may have overlooked? It may be helpful to recheck the guides and see if there was anything that could have been overlooked.

Hope everything works out for the best

Thank you all who are wishing us well. As far as details, our 221g was issued for security checks and they say he needed a new passport although his had JUST been renewed. So he got one with a new binding and all. The lady doing the interview back the end of May said the paperwork was good. She asked some very personal questions about our relationship. I had lived there for several years before we were a couple. The biggest issue they could pick on is my recent divorce (he has never been married), and that I am quite a bit older. However, I explained everything clearly and truthfully about our relationship. We have known each other for several years. I speak his language and am fully immersed in the area customs.

Follows is the email they sent me yesterday:

Any veterns out there who've been through something like this?

Dear Madam.

Thank you for your e-mail. We would like to inform you that your fiancé has been scheduled for a second interview on September 21, 2006 at 11.00.

Regards,

IV Casablanca
