Hmm, maybe only after you pay then does the tax transcript become available. I'm not exactly sure how the IRS works here as I'm Canadian :P

Filed: K-1 Visa Country: Philippines
Timeline

AOS:

-bar-coded cover letter from payment portal

-cover letter (optional, but recommended)

-completed and signed I-864

-tax info (either tax transcripts OR 1040s and W2s)

-employment letter (optional)

-pay stubs (optional)

If co-sponsor: his/her forms and documents (including proof of US citizenship/residency)

IV:

-bar-coded cover letter from payment portal

-cover letter (optional, but recommended)

-completed and signed (don't sign part 2) DS-230

-2 passport pictures (with full name, date of birth, and case number written on back)

-photocopy of bio-data page

-original/certified copy of birth certificate (plus a photocopy)

I see in your timeline this is for an IR-2 visa. If that's correct, if you child is over 16, then they'll also need to include a police certificate.

There might also be other requirements for an IR-2 visa, but I'm not sure

Hello there. I've paid my $88 AOS fee and am sending the AOS package today. I don't see the ability to pay the IV fee though, and it's been almost 1 month. Does NVC need to receive my AOS package before they allow me to pay the IV fee? Is that why there's no amount to be paid on the NVC invoicing website?

I work for the City of Los Angeles. I've included copies of 3 years tax returns & a recent paycheck. I didn't get a letter of employment from the City. Do I really need this?

Thanks in advance.

The IV fee is dependent on the DS-261. The AOS and IV are two separate tracks that have nothing to do with one another. When did you submit the DS-261? It's currently taking around a month since then for the IV bill to be invoiced.

As it states in what you quoted, the employment letter is optional.

I highly suggest you click on the last link in my signature (the NVC wiki). It's up to date (compared to this 3 year old thread...).
