Vancouver Consulate in regards to I-134

Hey all,

Just wondering if the people that already went for their interview through Vancouver had their fiance's include all the savings, stocks/bonds, life insurance, etc. on the I-134 (Q#7) even though their finace made more than enough just in annual income to support your particular family size? My fiance doesn't want to add any more than his annual income if he doesn't really have to. Has anyone went through the same situation? Can he just put "N/A" for these lines or does he need to fill them in with proof? Any experiences would be a great help.

There are several opinions about this .. If you meet the poverty guidelines with income alone .. do i have to answer the rest of the Q's ?.. I emailed Vancouver and asked .. They said answer all questions that are applicable and not to leave anything blank answer N/A to things that are not applicable. I didn't get the impression it was going to be ok to answer N/A to questions that do apply to you. So my Fiance ( the USC ) filled out all info .. @ the interview all they asked for in regards to the I-134 was the bank letter / work letter / income tax . They call you to the window and take your paperwork from you .. and then you sit and wait while a case worker looks it all over. When she took my paperwork she told me if they required anything else she would call me back to the window and ask for it ... So really it's up to the case worker to decide if they want to see more. If i were you i would email Vancouver and ask before making any decision. Good Luck

WE just did the income part, it was enough so we did not add anything else just left it blank.
