Change of email address

I will be changing email providers in the near future. My cell and home address will stay the same. My adjudication date is fast approaching (Lord willing). I called USCIS to inform them of email change but was told that I had to write a letter advising them of the change and that it cannot be done on the telephone. If USCIS sends me a notification to my old email address and its bounced back, will I still receive the text and/or mail versions? Also, will the wrong email be sent to NVC? I don't know if I should make the change with USCIS or just let it be and wait for the text and/or hardcopy?

You'll still receive the snail mail hard copy from USCIS within a week of approval. You can also go to their website www.uscis.gov , and enter your receipt number found on your NOA1 to check status daily if you want (or multiple times daily...ha ha). The NVC is good about updating emails over the phone...infact they verify it with me everytime I've called. I don't think there will be anymore email confirmations from USCIS after you hit the NVC...at least until you're fiance arrives here (we didn't receive anything more, anyway). I'm not too sure about what USCIS may send over email at that point, and I'd think you'd have the chance to revise your email on the adjustment of status forms you fill out at that point. I don't think you need to worry about it. Hope this helps, and best wishes.

wanda dont think you will have any problems with it as long as you receive the proper paperwork..and remember that noa2 needs to be saved because you will need it for the interview once he arrives. And as long as you get everything by paperwork you wont need to check online at all because its such a stressful moment that checking makes it worse lol..good luck and lots of patience.
