What did you guys decide to do about the additional luggage? My fiancee will hopefully have her K1 interview in a month or so and we're trying to figure out how to get her stuff to US without going bankrupt. My understanding is that Meest doesn't do Russia to US parcels anymore, just US to Russia. I checked with Russian Post and they said it's about $120 to ship a 20kg parcel with seamail, $250 for airmail.

Not that it will be any cheaper...but it might be worth checking into DHL or UPS. But man oh man...that's a lot of dough for postal. I can't say the US postal service is much cheaper though...if any.

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

Well she is sending books from Moscow (Russian Post Service) and there is a "Book" discount so its going to cost between $100 - $200 to ship. And she will have two suitcases with her. We'll just pay the fee for the second piece which should be no more than $100. I don't have all the info now but there is no easy way. its going to cost me between $300 - $500 to for the extra stuff altogether

I'm sure thumbing through the other forums would be the same if they'd post their real pics instead of cartoon characters or just their eyeballs.

LOL

I am not so sure.
