Hello ! I have a situation that i started my job 6 months ago ( In January 2011 ) and my employer says i cannot get my tax return paper (form 1040) before June next year ! I am expecting my NOA-2 next month ! I want to know what papers can i send to my fiance for affidavit of support ?

Another question is do you always get tax return after 12 months of filing it or do you always get them in January each year ??

There is a set of required primary documents:

1) 2010 tax transcript or tax return copy

2) Letter from present employer stating your income and dates of employment

Highly advisable documents, some consulates required (should be sent but do not substitute above documents)

1) I134

2) recent pay stub

Optional documents: W2, bank statements, last 3 years of tax returns etc.

However, you have to provide always 2010 (most recent) tax return.

Can you get letter from employer stating your income and recent paystubs?

My recommendation for documents:

1) I134 stating current income

2) Letter from employer with dates of employment and (in your situation since you did not have a job in 2010) your employment prospects.

3) 2010 tax return. You have to provided, you do not have a choice.

4) If you had stable well-paid job in 2009 and 2008 provide those as well. If you did not, don't

5) 3 most recent paystubs

6) if you have savings or property, provide statements as well.

I didn't file in 2010, I filed in 2011 so i do not have any tax return or tax return transcript !

I meant tax return for fiscal 2010 which you filed in 2011 (by april)

Yes i can get the letter and pay stubs !

Has the letter to be on letter-head ??

Absolutely! Make sure that you meet poverty guidelines.
