We Got a Call from the Embassy

Day 62 on AP and we got a call back from the embassy. My husband has an appointment time of 3:00 p.m. at the Casablanca Embassy. Any feedback on this time, I know all interviews are in the morning. My husband told me the lady that every one calls means was very nice to him over the phone. We are praying for the best outcome the last 14 months apart have been brutal.

Keep us in prayer and God bless everyone going through this process...

Sorry forgot the date, his appointment is tomorrow July 28 at 3:00 p.m.

03/25/2005- got married

USCIS

03/25/2011- I-130 sent in

03/26/2011- NOA-1

09/20/2011- Service Request

09/28/2011- Service Request Reply(extensive background check,allow 6 months...blah-blah..)

10/07/2011- RFE(4 pages)

11/15/2011- RFE reply sent back to USCIS

12/05/2011- reply for RFE showed up in the system (took them 20 days to locate and input in the system...lucky us...)

01/11/2012- NOA2(urrrrraaaaa!!!!)

NVC

01/23/2012-case received(took 12 days...waiting for the case #)

01/27/2012-case # received(but wrong Embassy assigned...has to change)

02/01/2012-invoices are e-mailed to both of us by NVC

02/07/2012-invoices are paid(had to wait due to the wrong assignment of the embassy )

02/14/2012-both packgs are sent in

02/29/2012-checklist for a missing copy of passport(not missing in reality,but either wait 20 days for a review or send it in again,so we sent it in...)

03/09/2012-case complete( could have taken less ,but well..who cares it is complete now!!!)

when we were called to come at 3:00 in a thursday....IT WAS FOR US TO GO AND PICK UP OUR PASSPORT WITH VISA INSIDE OF IT!!!!

I HOPE THAT THAT IS THE CASE FOR YOU!

i think you were the one who said that they kept his passport? was this you???

I WISH YOU LUCK THAT IT IS APPOINTMENT TO PICK UP YOUR VISA AT 3:00!!!!!!!

Spouse's Journey (F2A) - USCIS
02/22/2011 - Filed I-130 as F2A
02/28/2011 - Notice of Action 1 (NOA1)
06/16/2011 - Notice of Action 2 (NOA2)

NOA2 to NVC (32 days to get Case number)
NVC: (28 days)
07/18/2011 - NVC Received and got NVC case#.
07/18/2011 - Send my Naturalization Certificate via mail and email for upgrading my case from F2A to CR1.
07/19/2011 - Gave both emails to NVC and received IIN#
07/21/2011 - Got confirmation email about changing my petition from F2A to CR1. Up-gradation took 4 business days.
07/29/2011 - AOS Fee Bill Received & Paid Online.
07/29/2011 - DS-3032 Email sent to NVC from beneficiary.
08/01/2011 - AOS package invoice shows "PAID" and Package mailed to NVC.
08/02/2011 - DS-3032 received by NVC.
08/03/2011 - IV Fee Bill Received & Paid Online.
08/04/2011 - IV Fee Bill invoice shows "PAID" and DS-230 package mailed to NVC.
08/16/2011 - SIF & Case Completed

08/29/2011 - Interview Email.
New Delhi Consulate:
10/06/2011 - Medical Done.
10/17/2011 - Interview Date and Visa Approved !
10/20/2011 - Passport with Visa picked up from local VFS office.
12/16/2011 - P.O.E.
01/19/2012 - Receive Green card in mail

2013-11-13 - Apply for Removal of Conditions.

2013-11-23 - NOA Date

2014-03-27 - Approval.

2014-04-01 - Green Card received.

We are praying that is the case, that we are called simply to get his passport with the visa. Yes I was the one that posted that they kept his passport and then did not call as they stated they would. Thank you all for the well wishes....

My husband just called me, he got approved for CR1 was issued a blue ticket and told to return on Monday for the visa. I am ecstatic, he had the second interview with the same CO as in May and the man was very nice and even encouraged my husband to bring his cat with him. He was laughing so much when he reviewed our file and saw the pictures of his cat, Ramana (means pomegranite) cuddled up next to me as I slept. The funny part is that the cat is always attacking any visitors that come to the home in our conversations. That cat took to me and she would fight my husband to sleep next to me every night.

He did stress to my husband that he read all the conversations and we gave him a binder full. I am happy and will provide details of the actual interview as soon as I talk to my hubby this evening. He is on the way back home, thank you all for all the well wishes and I will be able to breath when he has the visa in hand and I can purchase his ticket home.
