As posted on my earlier post...Mumbai Consulate has asked us to submit the guest list to verify our relationship...we are planning on to submit the notorized statment from our parents along with the guest list even though Consulate has not asked for it..

I need suggestions/opinions is it advisable to submit the extra documents than what consualte has asked for?? would it make us look like being pushy or would it help us to get them the extra documents ? ( like notorized statement from our parents mentioning that we are only engaged and not married yet along wiht the guest list which consualte has asked for )

Please express your opinion...it will help us to make the right decisions...thanks you all..

HI,

Get the letters made and take those letters along with you to the VFS and while submitting the documents you can ask the person at the window if he needs letters from the parents and relatives if he says yes then u can submit it and if he says no then its not a problem .

Thank you .

Hi ,

The consulate will accept only those documents which will be submitted through vfs . they will not accept any documents at the consulate . so if the vfs accepts it then only it will reach to the CO . otherwise there is no other way submit these documents .
