We are filing here in Finland, wife is finnish national, I am US citizen. We have a son together born here. We are filing for her Green card and my sons US citizenship. Just wanted to know if anyone else here has dealt with the embassy here and if so what their experience was.

Thanks

Yes. I was the USC, my husband is Finnish. It was easy, provided you have all the paperwork and meet the requirements.

You can read my experience here:

There are some consulates that will stop taking DCF in August 15th so I would do it NOW, if you plan to. The wait in the US can be years, and it took us about 8 weeks in Helsinki.

Good luck!
