Screw tolerance. It's a sickness that shouldn't be promoted.

You're saying homosexuality is a 'sickness'?

If these reports on homophobia and homosexual urges is correct, my guess is that Kip has had on more than one occasion, nocturnal emissions involving himself and another man. Perhaps he's even tasted his own semen for the effect, but for whatever reasons, chooses to suppress his urges. However, given that he seems quite obsessed over homosexuality, there's a possibility of breakthrough. Perhaps he'll embrace his true inner self and have some wonderful lovemaking with another man. I think he might be on the cusp of accepting who he really is and that's a good thing. :)

My guess is it's bad enough we have to suffer through your idiotic clean power threads along with the global warming #######. Don't assume, don't guess, and save your bs. I'm sure your going to run to Kathryn over this post like a cry baby...go for it.

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

Oh please, not that silly red herring again

Red herring my azz, thats a lazy dodge.

Why are not the Mormons and their early marriage arraignments highlighted, they at least built a state and added many more macro contributions than a few gays in the closet "acting normal".

There is not one society that's not ethnocentric that has survived 'diversity' by the American Standard of diversity by pointing out the differences in people, rather than focusing on how they are the same.

Confusing.

You finally got that ? It is a sickness just like being a psychopathic killer is.

Who can argue it often leads to sickness?

CDC Analysis Provides New Look at Disproportionate Impact of HIV and Syphilis Among U.S. Gay and Bisexual Men

A data analysis released today by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention underscores the disproportionate impact of HIV and syphilis among gay and bisexual men in the United States.

The data, presented at CDC's 2010 National STD Prevention Conference, finds that the rate of new HIV diagnoses among men who have sex with men (MSM) is more than 44 times that of other men and more than 40 times that of women.

The range was 522-989 cases of new HIV diagnoses per 100,000 MSM vs. 12 per 100,000 other men and 13 per 100,000 women.

The rate of primary and secondary syphilis among MSM is more than 46 times that of other men and more than 71 times that of women, the analysis says. The range was 91-173 cases per 100,000 MSM vs. 2 per 100,000 other men and 1 per 100,000 women.

While CDC data have shown for several years that gay and bisexual men make up the majority of new HIV and new syphilis infections, CDC has estimated the rates of these diseases for the first time based on new estimates of the size of the U.S. population of MSM. Because disease rates account for differences in the size of populations being compared, rates provide a reliable method for assessing health disparities between populations.

"While the heavy toll of HIV and syphilis among gay and bisexual men has been long recognized, this analysis shows just how stark the health disparities are between this and other populations," said Kevin Fenton, M.D., director of CDC's National Center for HIV/AIDS, Viral Hepatitis, STD, and TB Prevention. "It is clear that we will not be able to stop the U.S. HIV epidemic until every affected community, along with health officials nationwide, prioritize the needs of gay and bisexual men with HIV prevention efforts."

The only thing kids learn about Mormons is how they teamed up with the Indians to massacre settlers. Mormons are nothing other than a cult.

Did it ever occur to you that teaching someone about homosexuality does not imply that it is being promoted.

It's not like they're saying: "hey kids, it's cool to be gay. You could be gay too. Look at us, we're all gay together!"

I'm sure you'll understand if I don't take your word as being gospel, or anything even remotely comparable to it.

Why don't you prove it?

So you are telling me you went through the US school system yes? You were taught US history in a US high school?

Mormons bright guy along with the Ute Indians massacred hundreds of settlers on their way to California and the Oregon Territory. There's even a Federal monument to it, and it's what we learned in our US history class in our Jr. year of highschool.

You stick to York, War of the Roses and Cromwell.

Given that I'm not American, Kip, why would I be telling you that...?

So you are telling me that you went through the US school system in the past couple of years then presumably....?

Of course the question remains, why choose only one unusual sex habit to "teach" children about their contributions?

There are people driven to all kinds of bazaar sexual orientations and life styles.

Certainly these people also have served in the military, gov't and society notably .... why not celebrate their contribution and link it to their bedroom habits?

I don't think the law in question is proposing to teach more than pretty much prohibit the exclusion of the contributions/mention of their sexual orientation (among other modalities of life such as race, creed, etc).

Its a big deal to bigots protesting the anti-discriminatory nature of the legislation. No big surprise, really.

There is not one society that's not ethnocentric that has survived 'diversity' by the American Standard of diversity by pointing out the differences in people, rather than focusing on how they are the same.

What societies are these and what basis for failure are you using? This seems a bit odd at best... incredibly out of touch with history (and reality) at worst.
