You are free to "go into" a rant any time you please, you certainly don't need my permission. But it's too late for you to "go into" a rant now, as you started a while back. Using your criteria, it doesn't take much besides disagreeing with you to qualify as ranting.

You have been defending homosexuality as worthy of being taught to school children and fighting anyone who disagrees with you in the name of "tolerance". I'd call that promotion of the gay cause, but, hey, I'm crazy that way.

They are not equivalent terms, and I have not equated them. Your actions here, insisting that anyone who is anti-gay history or anti-gay is intolerant and your belief that both are to be accepted without question or resistant is the evidence upon which I have concluded your advocacy of both.

It's quite a reasonable conclusion, and you will continue to prove me right, thank you.

I watch Broke Back Mountain.

Yeah... guilty by association huh? You call it that... perhaps due to your own bias, or bigotry of homosexuality? I ask- not as a method of labeling you so, but merely as a method of asking you to be honest. Call it crazy to be tolerant of things that do not concern us in the bedroom. Unless of course, your view is that homosexuality tears at the fabric of society. If that were so, then that is your opinion.

I once again must correct your assessment highlighted above with a request to show exactly where it is I claim the things you state. Lets give you the benefit of the doubt for a moment and assume I do claim these things. It should be easy to at least show one post where I do so- not implicitly, not by tolerating, but by active promotion. Your conspiracy will not stand the test of truth, unfortunately.

As for your narcissistic change in tone, well, it is to be expected at this time in the evening I suppose.

I will not be participating in feeding your cancer tonight.

Being born black and being a guy dressing like a chick and getting humped by another guy isn't the same is it? I'm going to take a wild guess here and say there's a difference.

what if there's a gene for homosexuality? then you are born that way.

What if there's a gene for being born a homicidal maniac ?

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

There were some references to Freud back some pages. Check them out.

I'm not afraid of having my masculinity or sexual orientation questioned. I'm happily straight. And tolerant of gays. Back in the day it would have meant more girls for me to date if some would not fall for gay dudes hiding in the closet due to societal pressure. You know how that must be, right?

As for why I chime in these topics... sure- I can share. I believe in tolerating people that are different. I do not believe in tolerating a$$holes that hide behind the supposed skirt that they're worthy of respect for being a$$es.

I wasn't trying to put words in your mouth. I was trying to explain further.

I hope someone will point me to that event.

Hopefully the topic (Law) will be somehow returned to. All I know so far is that I've seen ridiculous posts about how being tolerant of homosexuals makes one a promoter of gayness, a closet homosexual, and a defender of private bedroom activities between two men (because the act between two women is somehow exempt). To this we can add strange avoidance of the actual reason for the OP in the first place: although there was (and likely will be) a richness of posts ranting about it without actually addressing the law itself.

Seems kind of like trolling for something- and I believe that is also covered in the rules of this place.

I'm asking if you would accept homosexuality if there is a gene for it?

Is there a gene for Mongoloids? And if so do they have children themselves? Do we have history classes teaching about Mongoloid history and the impact they have had?

Mongoloid? As in down syndrome or Asian? If down syndrome, then yes it's a trisomy. Children do learn about that in school.

Or perhaps it doesn't have to be either or, but a part of normal sexuality. Like anything else, if you don't give it any more attention than it deserves, then things develop naturally. Children seem to readily accept most things, until they are told otherwise.
