You might want to debate this with fishdude or at least direct your messed up post to him.

It's people like you that make me sick to my stomach. Your saying that people that live in California their entire lives and who don't want their kids to be subjected to that giant mental issue known as homosexuality should move to another state????

What about the kids who are adopted by these nuts? How's a kid supposed to explain to his/her class mates that he doesn't have a real mom, just a guy who pretends to be his mommy but is actually his biological father, and the guy he's getting buggered by is his/her ..what ..dad or step dad?

Or maybe they say yes this is my mom/dad? You are the type of person who could give two sh*ts less about children as long as you can shove your your type of sick and demented values in someones face. Iv'e seen your kind time and time again and it makes me sick.

Seriously...direct your pathetic bs post to someone else on here, but spare me the bs.

Go rant/cry somewhere else then. It makes me truly happy a bigot such as yourself is made uncomfortable by the tolerance of 'people like me.'

does anyone else find this a little odd? the same people that are against any god being part of school curriculum, are all for homosexuality being part of school curriculum....just thought i'd share my observation w/ the group. :)

I think this law protects the contributions to society of religious people. I posted it for the second time in the last page. I don't see any funny business other than the typical angry rants coming from the usual suspect.

Bigot? Your the type of cretin what could give two sh*ts less if some kid was getting buggered by their mom-dad as long as it fit your twisted look on what values for EVERYONE should be.

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

It's not so different. What's different is the shrill bullying of pro-gay groups. Anti-gay groups are pushing back, though.

They do indeed push back, vociferously, while public sentiment and support of gay tolerance continues to increase. Go figure if you want to deny that. Every time change like this is presented to society, those most bigoted will always resist.

Make sure you read the law. :)

Womp womp womp

( I did ask you if you were a bigot. You chickened out of a straight answer. ;) )

Ancient Greece is over, too, and homosexuality is not an accepted way of life in the Muslim world.

Still happens.

You're bigoted against people who don't accept homosexuality as normal. They clearly make you uncomfortable enough t spend time trying to change their minds. That makes you a bigot, too. Pro or anti, each side has a bias that makes them bigoted toward the other side.

I did already state I gladly accept the label of bigot if its in the context that I do not accept intolerance as a healthy human behavior.

*I do not have much hope for changing the minds of people that can't be reasoned with.*

So does pedophilia, but that doesn't make it acceptable.

my comment wasn't about the law protecting 'contributions to society'. my comment was that the same people obsessed w/ religion being kept out of school are all for homosexuality being part of the school curriculum. would you care to address my comment or something else i didn't say?

Unless you're an absolutist, intolerance is quite healthy. There are lots of things that are not tolerated that are also not healthy.

Sure, that could be if it was indeed a pro-gay thing. I am not pro-gay either. Not such a bipolar representation. Tolerance does not imply promotion- know the difference.

As for using incongruencies and irrelevant 'parallels' aka slippery slopes- there is no argument for tolerance if you wish to diverge the context to promotion or acceptance.

People here seem to address things unsaid quite often- see the wild rants in the pages before.

As for your comment, I don't think its that simplistic in labeling one group of people as being one thing and another in the same brush stroke.

Unless you're an absolutist, intolerance is quite healthy. There are lots of things that are not tolerated that are also not healthy.

Sure, I agree. Since the world is not an absolute phenomenon, but a quilt of many differences, it is odd how one patch that doesn't affect another would be construed as an imposition in the context of merely seeking tolerance. I suppose not all are ready to act like mature adults.

I (L) gays. I don't (L) god.

eta: I don't have kids but if I wanted them to learn about god I would send them to a catholic school :)

You are promoting homosexuality on this thread, whether you know it or not. It would be best if you know what you're doing.
