I had my interview today for my AOS but things didn't turned out very well for us. They were asking for more additional proof that we have a bonafide relationship so they gave us a piece of paper of the stuff that we need to submit within 30days. My questions is how to arrange those documents before I send it out? and also is there some one out here who knows the format on how to make an affidavit of sworn statement? they are asking for at least two reference who could prove that our wedding is legitimate. Things are just so frustrating right now :( sigh...

If you scroll down this page you will see examples of affidavits:

They are listed under ROC and read as such, but you can change that part. It just gives you an idea of what they should look like.

May I ask what you exactly provided that was insufficient and what additional thing they wanted?

They asked for joint bank statement since we didn't provided them one, lease of contract with my name on it, letter from our landlord stating that I live in this house with my husband, letter from our friends or family to prove that we are really married and staying at the same place, pictures of his previous visits to see me and current photos of us, plus tickets of the stuff that we did since I got here.

Those are things you should have taken to the interview. Most definitely the joint bank statement and joint lease.

Sounds like things that should be relatively easy for you to get together. Once you do I don't think you'll have a problem. Are you supposed to mail it or submit it directly?

What did you actually take to the interview? (Just so others know). Do you have joint bank accounts and all that?

We only took the forms that we submitted for the AOS plus our original birth certificates, passports, social security card, I-94, and my EAD and AP card. I thought the consul will be easy on us since most of my friends told me that "everything will be alright" even though I don't have those joint accounts with us. I guess I should have trusted my instinct in bringing tons of evidence with us. :( My husband actually didn't thought that the insurance and bank account issue won't be a problem so he didn't even bother to get a copy or add me to his insurance. That raised the eyebrows of the CO and started questioning our marriage. I wanted to get mad at my husband for not believing me that I need those stuff but it's too late now to point fingers :(. I sorted out everything today like the joint bank statement, lease of contract with my name on it, a whole bunch of pictures, gym membership contract, plane tickets when he visited, hotel vouchers from his previous trips, ring receipts, "( it just feels like I'm arranging my K1 visa packet again)" game tickets from soccer and baseball games, except for the insurance since he can't add me now until end of August. :( Those are the stuffs that the CO specifically asked from me! it looks really over whelming and I wished I didn't have to go through this kind of pain if only my husband didn't argue with me and just do as I say :P Oh well, I sure learned my lesson pretty well! too bad I learned it the hard way :P this will be the first and the last that I'm going to a battle with out any weapon on me. We're going to submit all this documents on Saturday through Fedex once we get the written statement from our friends. I sure hope they'll approve me this time. :) wish me luck guys!!!!
