I call the NVC today, the machine said my case completed July 22 2011. Now I have to wait for the interview date. I want to know the average time to get the date from the case completed. Whether they will notify us by email? Since I haven't gotten any notice until now. Her embassy is Islamabad Pakistan.

my case was completed on the 19th and when I call they tell me that they (NVC) only schedule interviews on the 2nd week of each month so if there's any opening for September at her Embassy for September that's when she will have her interview but right now we just have to wait for NVC to schedule us for September. oh CONGRATS we're almost there!!kicking.gif

Our case was completed @ May 3rd and we received interview date on May 17th... for June 15th. Sometimes it takes aobut two weeks to get a date and they usually time it so you get your papers about a month before interview date due to the fact you have to use the interview letter for the medical. If you had all of your NVC stuff sent via email they will also send this to your email. Otherwise it will be from the post.

we got our interview scheduled about a week after case complete at NVC (case complete April 20th, interview scheduled April 28th for June 1st) even though when I called, they said the same- that they only schedule 2nd week of the month. This is obviously not the case (the ONLY part), so you could receive the interview letter(e-mail) anytime. I think they say that 2nd week thing just to save themselves the headache of committing to a shorter time-frame.
