I think it's fascinating that Islamic Terrorism exists, yet we see such denial regarding allegations of Christian Terrorism.

Christian terrorism definitely exists. As was pointed out earlier, the people who killed abortion doctors and bombed abortion clinics were many times Christian terrorists. The felt that their actions were based on biblical teachings. They may have even heard in their churches about how wrong abortion was. Somehow, they felt they were doing the work of God by killing these people. Their actions were as far from Christian as possible; but they were Christian terrorists.

I don't know what church this guy attended or what he heard there. I don't know if he felt he was doing the work of God by his actions. I don't know if we can call him a Christian terrorist.

But I do believe Christian terrorists exist as I believe that Muslim terrorists exist.

But I do respect those who have differing opinions as long as they are consistent.

When the Muslim man does it, he did it because the Quran guarantees him 72 virgins in heaven.

Muslims say the same thing about terrorists who commit violence in the name of Islam, but it's somehow not taken seriously. Do you expect to be taken seriously?

Sofiyya - Christian are out questioning the faith of these guys, how many times Muslims speaks out and question the faith of the islamic terorist?

Most muslims will just continue the same preaching kinda things that islam does not promote violence and on and on... which most ppl who are aware know that its not the fact.

You were ready to jump on the topic right away, but would u had done same if it was islamic guy?

On July 13th islamic terrorist exploded 3 bombs in Mumbai(India) killing hunderds of innocent ppl who were on their way home to be with their family after days work.

Did any islamic org or group come out question their faith.... nope.

I guess most muslim forget India was one of the country from where islam grew and had strong roots, it is on the of the country where every religion has been safe and govt and ppl have always allowed ppl to practice religion of their choice.

Until when some groups come and try to impose their religion on rest of ppl.

If this guy was a Christian..... someone answer my initial questions.

-what church did he attend?

-When was the last time he attended?

-What part of the bible did use to justify his action?

If he's Norwegian then there's a 99% chance he's Lutheran. But like who cares? It's not like there's hundreds of thousands of Lutherans running around calling for "Holy War" against the infidels. Take one look at 9-11 and see all the vids where those Muslims were dancing in the streets.

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

From what I have read, in order to "not" be in the Lutheran Church in that country one has to actually take steps to withdraw, as merely being born there makes you a member.

If someone from Norway knows the details of this please share.

I doubt that, but it's possible. When I was a kid I had to suffer through those "Sons of Norway" dinners along with "Danish Brotherhood" dinners as well, and I don't think I ever met a Norwegian that wasn't a Lutheran. The Lutheran church we went to was pretty liberal for the most part..especially compared to my grandma's Quaker church. That church sucked... 6 hours of bs every Sunday. It was like h*ll.

Actually, there are hundreds of thousands of Christians of many denominations calling for "Holy War" against Muslims. I could also post a video of westerners dancing in the streets and say it was because they were celebrating some (fill in the blank) violent act and you'd believe it.

Why is it assumed of a violent Arab that he attended mosque regularly and that the Quran justified his cruel acts? Why is the bar so low for accusing Islam of condoning violence, but you want the bar to be higher if a Christian does it? Why don't I see such questioning from you when a Middle Easterner is accused of violence?

How much more clear can it be?

On the one hand you have Muslims who "Are" devoted to their brand of Islam

on the other hand you have a guy who is is not even a practicing Christian in any meaningful way, in fact, from his writings we can see even his most basic philosophies of faith are far from any Christian concepts.

As I have said before, the Abortion center bombers are much more closer to the parallel you are trying to draw... though their methods do not reach so low,

as they at least limit their attacks to those they see as directly involved in the wrongs they hope to stop (abortions).

Even they, don't target random victims with their acts of terror.

Well, hell, Danno. He's devoted to his brand of Christianity. Just because it's not your brand doesn't make it any less valid.

When I've made the argument to you that Muslims involved in terrorism aren't dedicated to Islam and are devoid of Islamic concepts, you don't accept that. Why should I be convinced that what you see as his lack of cred makes him less Christian than someone who meets your standards?
