My fiance was interviewed in April 2006 and given a 221g for further investigation. Since then I have not received any notice from Vermont. I was told by my Congressman it could take years before getting reviewed. I want to go and marry him, will this cause a problem if our k1 has still not been reviewed?

There was a recent case of a chinese K1 visa applicant being denied, recommended for revocation, and then NSC reaffirmed the petition.. so now back to GUZ... Going back to GUZ some 19 months after the interview. This was on the slower end of a few revocations I'm aware of (all chinese nationals involved)...

Look forward any experiences on the original post...

You just start again, you can not convert a K1 to K3.

It would not make any difference to the 221G, it would of course put you back timewise.
