Hello all,

I intend to get married but my income for the last year doesnt meet the INS requirements.

Could you please where can I find an affidavit of suport form and what else do I need?

Do I need my sponsor income for the last 3 year or for the last year ,attached?

Tx a bunch...

You can go onto USCIS.gov and get all the forms needed for your filings...they are the most up to date and current ones.

They look at the current year mostly but they also look at last year. If you are unsure about the possibility of meeting the income requirements you should definitely have a co sponsor ready as well. Depending who they are, where they live they can either fill out and i 864 as you would be doing (even if your income isn't good enough you will still be the main sponsor and must fill this out) then comes joint sponsor if they do not live with you and you dont claim on taxes they use i 864..... not 100% sure about the use of i 864a but im sure someone else will tell you about that...i dont hvae any experience with that.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

Tx a lot! For 2 people( myself and my fiancee) what is the income needed. My frind is in USA and has 2 kids and a wife.How much income would he need to show for the two o us?

I think he makes around 100k a year, I am not sure, but I will ask!

if your applying fiance you should plan to go by 125% not just the 100% (for k1 visa) bcos even if it requires 100% some embassies actually look for 125% because they see that you will be married and adjusting status thus at that point requiring 125%
