Hi, can anyone relate to my status? I received my approval notice on June 27th,saying that my petition had been forwarded to NVC, So,I emailed NVC on July 20 just to check the status. They sent me a reply saying that there is no any record of my application in the system. So, they asked me to send a copy of the approval letter. Does anyone else have the same experience?

HEY, don't worry, i had this experience before, my I130 approved on 16/6 and it forwarded to NVC after one month, and before i sent an email to NVC saying that there is no any record ...

so send them the approval letter, and am sure they will receive it from USCIS soon, but they need time to forward it.. Good Luck

Look at my timeline, it took exactly one month till I received packet 3. We called the NVC 2 weeks after NOA2 to get our new casenumber, and they said 15 workdays after NOA 2 they can look at our case, not before. So call them. And hang' in there, it'll come soon! :thumbs:

Yes, I did the same thing and finally after 31 days of waiting I got the NVC case #. You are almost there. Give them a call every single day. Don't worry, this days it become the habit of the NVC to delay the petition up to a month.

it'll be our 3rd week now and you're not the only one who stuck at nvc. for sure they got it but they haven't put on their system yet. hopefully we'll get our case number soon:)

We received our NOA2 on 7/6, and I started calling the automated number after 2 weeks (actually before). There was no record, so I decided to wait for an operator last night. They gave me our case number and our file was forwarded to the embassy on 7/22. I've read that the automated response system isn't updated at times, so it pays to speak with a live person. Hope everyone receives theirs soon!

You should call the NVC to verify when your petition has beedn sent on to your consulate.

That's good news! I hope I would received mine soon. Initially, did you also had the same response when you were calling NVC that they don't have the a record of the application yet? before you got your case number?Because I have called NVC for several times the past 2 weeks and they keep telling me that I have to scan/email a copy of the approval letter to them which I already did and up to this time I did not get any response from the email. I will call NVC today and hopefully there is goodnews for me.

It just Takes time now with NVC.I think they must be backlogged with so many Petitions being Approved.They give us all the same Answer."wait 15 Business days before they will even research it, Business Days". some apparently get it fast, others wait at least a Month. some 30,31, to 33 days.Just be patient and it Will come!:thumbs:
