Back to topic, Norquist is a class A putz. And freshman Congressmen who have signed his "Pledge" before they've even stepped foot in Congress or absorbed one iota of their responsibilities are doing their constituents no favors.

What I think the news ought to be doing is taking 3rd graders and putting them on TV as "consultants" or "budget analysts." They could say gems like, "if we're spending more than we have, it ends up not working."

You don't need some "expert" to tell you the current system will not work. Any 3rd grader would suffice. I'm kind of surprised people even watch this ####### on TV anymore.
