hello , i want to travel on the extension letter to India. i feel little nervous traveling with just a piece of paper . i am not worried about problem at the airport in the USA(because they do recognize the extension letter) but i am worried about India , i don't know if i would be allowed to board the plane with just a piece of paper or if they will even recognize the extension letter . Is there anyone who has traveled to India on extension ?

thanks in advance.

I've been wondering the same, I'm traveling to Kuwait in a school sponsored trip so my husband is not coming with me, I was thinking of bringing my NOA and biometrics with the stamp that shows that I had them done already and of course my expired green card and passport.

I'm traveling at the end of September/beginning of October so if you haven't traveled by then I'll let you know how it went and if they gave me any trouble.

We travelled to India a little over 2 years ago (when Pras still hadn't received the 10-year GC). While it is true that they haven't seen very many of these, they do recognise it and will let you board. Allow another hour for them to process.
