Hello VJ's members. I hope someone can help us answer this questions. My wife and I are both confused on this questions.

Line #14. Asking SPOUSE FAMILY NAME, FIRST NAME, MIDDLE name... She wrote my FULL NAME HERE....

NOW, on line...

31a says; Person named in 14 and 29 who will accompany you to the US now.

When you say accompany to the US now. Does it mean, who she will be going with when she enter the US? I'm already here in the US and will just wait for her here in NY -- her POE

Is the answer should be NONE or N/A. Right? I got confused on PERSON NAMED IN 14... (which is my name listed there...(spouse--husband)

31b says; Person named in 14 and 29 who will follow you to the US at a later date.

Also in here... Person named in 14, (spouse--husband) but will NOT follow her coz I'm already here in the US and will just wait for her (New York- POE)

The answer should be NONE OR N/A... right?

I hope someone here can help me with my question... Thanks!

Its asking for people getting a visa and going with her. Unless she has kids going with her and getting a visa too then she would put N/A or NONE.

Start your own thread for your questions, go look at the example forms in the example form section and see if your form is correct.

What if Im leaving with my son but my son did not undergo visa processing because I already got him a Consular Report of a Birth Abroad Certificate and a US passport here in US embassy Manila... Do I still need to list him over that question? thanks

Pars, If your son is going with you when you enter the US. I believe you should put his name on line 31a. and line 31b. NONE. Please someone correct me if I'm wrong...

I think it's best to call NVC to confirm. I called them twice to make it sure that my wife answer is right...

12/28/11 - Received SSN (applied on 12/20/11, as we didn't get based on DS-230 options)
11/28/11 - Received Green Card (Expires on 10/30/13) - Welcome Letter on 11/17/11
10/30/11 - POE - Houston, TX

Chennai Consulate (40 days)
10/28/11 - Received Visa papers and Passport at VFS
10/25/11 - Interview Cleared Successfully (Spouse was not allowed in)

NVC: (90 days from NOA2 to Consulate)
08/31/11 - Case Completed (Interview 10/25/11) - Received at Chennai on 09/19/11
07/22/11 - NVC Case Number

USCIS: (92 days)

6/21/11 - NOA2 (NOA1 on 3/25/11) - took a month to get to NVC
