G-325a - Employment question

My husband, who is the USC in our case, has a job right now, which he'll list first.

But before that he worked under the table.. (he'd still be exempt from paying taxes as he would still make under the x amount the IRS states on their website).

He has never been on a payroll in the past 5 years.. so what do we put as employment?

He DID work but it was on no payroll what so ever.

I guess if you put it that way, he was never really officially employed, so shall we put "unemployed" ?

Would that work against me getting approved for a GC?

No, you need to tell the truth and disclose the illegal work.

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package
2/06/13: APPROVED!
