I'd rather make more than less. If making more means I have to pay more, that's cool too. I'm not going to refuse a raise because I want to avoid entering the 35% marginal tax bracket.

My support for higher marginal tax rates on earned income exceeding 500K in no way shape or form implies a personal interest in your earnings history.

What would you tax a person with 3 kids making 20k?
