What form do we need to fill in if we have a co sponsor for our petition ? and what documents will we need along with the ones mentioned i EZguide ?. Any link or comments will be highly appreciated

USCIS journey:

07/25/2010 - Nikah Day

11/10/2010 - sent I-130

11/15/2010- Priority Date

11/18/2010- Notice Date

03/16/2011- Case has been updated on website

04/20/2011- Received NOA2 approval email (Finally)

153 days from our NOA1 to NOA2 .

NVC Journey

04/05/2011: Received NVC Case #

05/30/2011 - Emailed DS3032 ( moving at snail's pace i know )

06/03/2011 - AOS fee Paid

06/03/2011 - Acceptance of DS3032

What form do we need to fill in if we have a co sponsor for our petition ? and what documents will we need along with the ones mentioned i EZguide ?. Any link or comments will be highly appreciated

The US petitioner will file I-864EZ, the Co-sponsor will file I-864.

By the way let us know whether the co-sponsor and the petitioner stay at the same address and whether the Petitioner is a dependant on the Co-sponsor's tax return!

USA

01/08/13 - Approved and GC is order for production on 1/8/14

09/12/13 - Case transferred to CSC. NOA2 received on 09/18/13

08/30/13 - Biometrics Done - No walk ins allowed at this LSC (received on 8/16/13).

08/05/13 - NOA1 (received on 08/10/13)

08/01/13 - Mailed I-751 (received on 8/2/13 - check cashed on 8/5/13)

12/28/11 - Received SSN (applied on 12/20/11, as we didn't get based on DS-230 options)
11/28/11 - Received Green Card (Expires on 10/30/13) - Welcome Letter on 11/17/11
10/30/11 - POE - Houston, TX

Chennai Consulate (40 days)
10/28/11 - Received Visa papers and Passport at VFS
10/25/11 - Interview Cleared Successfully (Spouse was not allowed in)

NVC: (90 days from NOA2 to Consulate)
08/31/11 - Case Completed (Interview 10/25/11) - Received at Chennai on 09/19/11
07/22/11 - NVC Case Number

USCIS: (92 days)

6/21/11 - NOA2 (NOA1 on 3/25/11) - took a month to get to NVC
3/21/11 - I-130 sent to USCIS Lockbox, Chicago.

No they live in different cities , my husband's brothe is co sponsering. I am not sure about tax return I think he has his own.

Is I184ez different than I184 regular? Thanks

No they live in different cities , my husband's brothe is co sponsering. I am not sure about tax return I think he has his own.

Then co-sponsor needs to provide I-864, 2010 IRS Tax Transcript or full tax return (2009 & 2008 are optional), c opy of his Birth certificate (if born in US) else a copy of his Naturalization certificate or his Passport, his employment certiicate (optional), 1 or 2 of his latest pay stubs (optional)

You will have to sign and file I-864EZ or I-864 (in case you are using any assets like bank accounts...). An explanation letter (optional).

USA
