My fiance has been calling the NVC, sending emails to them to inquire about our status. Today he received this email.

Is this a good news or another never ending waiting game? I just wonder about what "agents" refer to in this email? :help:

It's been over one month since our NOA2 :angry:

Please be advised that the National Visa Center (NVC) contacted U.S.

Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS) to locate your approved

petition. USCIS has informed the NVC, that your petition will be en

route to the NVC. Once we have received your petition, the appropriate

agent will receive further instructions within 6 to 8 weeks.

petition. USCIS has informed the NVC, that your petition will be en

route to the NVC. Once we have received your petition, the appropriate

agent will receive further instructions within 6 to 8 weeks.

The agent could be the petitioner or the representative of the petitioner, which could be an attorney hired by the petitioner.

Actually you could be the agent too as the beneficiary of the petition. Like me, I was the one(because fiance is busy from deployment process) emailing and calling(thru google talk) NVC and got the case number after over a month from NOA2.

Actually I got the same email like the one ur fiance got from NVC. It's not really a problem though, just a waiting game.. :blush:

April 04, 2011: CRBA and US passport on hand

April 2011: SSN Application sent (mailed original docs thru 2GO)

October 26 - June 5, 2012: SLEC trap!!! (DOT tx to vaccine administration)

June 7, 2012: Interview (APPROVED!) :)

June 18, 2012: Visa picked up at the embassy

June 20, 2012: POE in Detroit
