Well talked to a supervisor saying that my beneficiaries documents are completed and finalized and their just waiting for an interview in august.. Now just gave them a call and their telling me that it didnt make it for august and we have to wait again.. And my expedite request was denied by US Embassy PH.. Well being in the military and about to be deploying again is hard enough and i just want to be with my wife and son to spend more time with them.. I was given a time on september to pick them up but the interview is not scheduled yet. Right now i am so pissed to every NVC and US Embassy employees for giving me such a hard time. I deserve to be with my family for what i have done serving in the military and being deployed in the combat zone. NVC employees should try to go over there and not knowing if they will ever go back alive or completely with limbs. Have some respect for those who serve in the military and for what we do.

Have you tried using the fact that they are threatening to take pay away from military again this august as another reason to expedite?

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

My husband is also in the military Us airforce to be exact.. My son and I had an interview last July 1 and they needed to have us a joint sponsor. His LES is not enough. The embassy didnt honor if your a military they process your papers like others.

Well they DO honor the military. However, if your documents are not matching up according or in compliance to the requirements, then they WILL not expedite. If its cool, they do.

Can you get representation via the military? Use them as your attorney?

In Arizona its hot hot hot.

Mybe I misunderstood the post. If I did I apologize. While I have greatest respect for military personnel I just do not see why military personnel has to get their documents processed faster than any other people? All of us are tax payers, all of us are USC. All of us are working. All of us want to be with their loved ones. The fact that you are military does not mean that you love more or that you want to be with your loved ones more than other people. Military do enjoy more benefits that the rest of us. However, being with the loved ones is the same for everyone. These are just my 2 cents. Being in the military is your personal choice. Choice of profession. No entitlement to privileges that are outside of usual military privileges. I apologize if I misunderstood the post. Good luck!

Military expedite is something that is granted many times by USCIS / NVC and US embassy. It is done so because they may DIE on deployment before they can be with or marry the person they love. They may be critically injured and need their wife at home when they return. Deployment to an active combat zone generally grants an expedite. But you need to have the proof.

Being with a loved one is NOT the same for military members. Because you never know if your husband or wife will actually come home or if they will come home missing arms and legs or severely traumatized for the rest of their life from the war.

I agree. Sometimes in life you just have to wait it out. This is one of those times. It sucks that the NVC is not always accurate with their info but the rest of us have to deal with it too. Remember, you are not the only person going through these frustrations. Just as wanting to marry someone from a different country was your (and mine and pretty much everyone else on this forum) choice, being in the military is your profession choice. And there is nothing wrong with that and I thank you for your service but this is not an area of life where military personnel should get special treatment. Everything will work out if your papers are right and ready to go and you act promptly. Good luck.

you may be right. phould police officers have this privilege? they may dies and do die in the line of duty every day. Or Firefighters? let's remember september 11th how many firefighters dies in twin towers.. I grew up in the military family myself. my father served in the navy for 25 years. I completely support any privileges given to the military personnel by the government. However, I do not support automatic entitlement to everything by default. This is personal choice of a profession and all the dangers and benefits associated with such profession. if it is granted i support it. if it is not i do not feel anyone should feel entitled. this is all. i do thank military personnel for their service. does this mean we need to open new carpool lanes entitled "military only"? I know that what i just said does sound stupid but we cannot entitle people to everything only because they serve in the military. we do not have a draft. this is a profession.; this is just my opinion.

Taking a bullet for you or me isn't what I'd call an "extra benefit " or necessarily a chosen profession. Many do it out of duty to one's country and to fellow countrymen/women. IED's are nondiscriminatory also. Do you get over out of the fast lane when a patrolman is behind you? I will wait my place in line gladly to give our service members a bit of respite in this chaotic world. Thanks again for your service and best of luck OP with your Journey.

Are you contacting the USCIS line or the Toll-free Military DHSHotline at 1-800-323-8603; By fax at 202-254-4292 ? This will make a big difference as one is specfically trained to handle military immigration issues.

Have you had JAG look over your paperwork and confirm that there is nothing obvious to cause a problem? Have your orders been cut yet? If so, you need to get those in with the corresponding A number so the records are married up at USCIS. If you speak with someone on the hotline, they will normally let you fax a copy and then mail in hard copy afterwards.

Don't get angry, it won't help. Be methodical and thorough so you stand the best chance of getting a deployment-based expedite. Check, check and check again.

Good luck with the expedite and stay safe on your deployment. :)
