Same here, we both received our approved petition by June 24, 2011 and still nothing from NVC. My fiance called up and even inquired through email, sent the scanned copy too. But according to NVC, they don't have the record of approved petition on their system and they will contact the USCIS on our behalf to locate our petition. Which makes me wonder, really. USCIS sent the hard copy of NOA2, telling us that they sent it to NVC. So, I wonder how long does it take to USCIS from NVC? Waiting sucks. Especially if it's over a month. They always say that once the petition is approved, the process will be faster :( I think it's not really true.

Looking at the timelines.. up through roughly 6/21 has been approved and one person from 6/22 has reported getting to NVC (they have not updated their timelines so it is not in the database).. Reasonable to expect 6/22, 6/23, and 6/24 NOA2 to make it to NVC this week and also hope for 6/27 and 6/28 :)

I don't believe it.. Prove it to me and I still won't believe it. -Ford Prefect

Not sure what TSC timeline is, but CSC is running 30-32 days right now according to the Immigration Timelines spreadsheet here on VJ...

You might want to keep an eye on it, sort by NVC received date & you will know if your past due or not.

Hang in there Guys & Gals, it's gonna be coming soon! Be patient you lucky June NOA 2 recipients!

Signed,

Leo (a July recipient)

I was reading on another thread about how slow the USCIS has been lately in sending approved cases to the NVC. A month or more is way too long to wait. I hope they speed it up.

Back in the day, ours only took one week.

Hang in there! The NVC will be sending your packet to the Embassy malapit na! That's when things get interesting! :star:

Hello. What do you mean by approved? Did you receive the first I-797C or 2nd? Just asking as I received my first I-797C in May and am now waiting for the Interview which I assume is next.

Hello. What do you mean by approved? Did you receive the first I-797C or 2nd? Just asking as I received my first I-797C in May and am now waiting for the Interview which I assume is next.

"Approved" means you received your second Notice of Action (NOA-2) from the USCIS telling you that your petition has been approved. I think the form number is the one you mentioned...the I-797.

After the USCIS approves your I-129F petition, they send it to the NVC where the NVC will assign it an MNL case number and then forward it to the U.S. Embassy Manila (USEM).

After the USEM receives your I-129F packet and they enter it into their system, they will send the beneficiary a letter telling the beneficiary that they are eligible to schedule an interview.

The beneficiary pays the visa fee at BPI and then an interview can be scheduled either online or by phone. Either the beneficiary can schedule the interview or the petitioner can do it.

Same boat, we got approved June 14th and only left NVC July 22nd, took almost 6 weeks!!! What I did was follow the instructions on the NoA2 document, I emailed all our details e.g. name, DOB for both petitioner and beneficiary with the document number (from NOA2) in the subject title, hey presto the next day we received our notification. I only wished I had not waited and tried after 30 days as it may even have been approved earlier! I think they are just backlogged at the moment, good luck hope yours comes soon!
