I am preparing for the interview for my wife in Bogota, I have read all of the instructions, My question is her 12 year old daughter who has a seperate I-130 filed required to be at the interview.

It appears the child is not required to have a medical exam. Is this correct? It also appears the child is required to have a TB test. Can this be done in another city or only in Bogota? Is it advisable to have the child at the interview even if it is not required?

Has anyone waited in Bogota to receive the Visas from Domesa? How long did it take?

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

The child definitely needs a medical (the vaccinations required may be different then for an adult).

Most embassies will require anyone who needs a visa to attend the interview, even babies; a young child may not be asked questions, but they want to verify it's the same person as in the photos. At 12 years old, your wife's son will most likely be asked some question, even if it is just how often he's met you and what he thinks of you.

The child is required to have a medical in Bogota. In Bogota they are not required to come to the interview if they are under 14. Good Idea everyone goes though should help your case.. The TB test is required and must be done by the panel Dr. in Bogota. Make sure you get there with enough time because the TB takes 3 days to get results. I may have a problem because our medical is Tuesday and the interview is Thursday. Not sure what's gonna happen. It takes DOMESA takes about 3 business days to obtain the visa which is why most people have it sent to their residence.
