 How little you know and pay attention around here.

Are you trained as a scientist?

I am.

That involves more than 'reading' some blog about some study done somewhere.

So what was that again?

Well, as a scientist, you're a pretty poor one if you don't seem to pay very close attention to detail.

If you did, you'd notice the many times I've stated my studies in social sciences.

So don't even try and pull the, 'oh well you don't know what all goes into research like i do' card. It just doesn't work.

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

Turns out last week that only 0.4% of Weather Service reporting devices record any "record" high temnperatures.

It is mostly a YouTube/internet phenomonon started by people too young to remember the last heat waves (1980, 1973, 1962, 1926) all BEFORE global warming.
