It only takes one chart for me to accept a fact as a fact. It is really cute to pretend that we are smarter than scientists but I feel more comfortable on their side.

No comment but these charts really opened my eyes...Maybe they are just greatly manipulated and biased. If not, then the Republicans are pitiful.

Summer is the hot months, it gets hot and some years are more hot than others. Winter is the cold months, it gets colder some years than others.

So the difference would appear to be that we did not have YouTube in 1962. Like I said before, no one told us it was hot or bad or terrible or a global crisis or...whatever. A little later that year my freinds all told me it was going to get REAL HOT when the Russian nuked Dyess Air Force Base which we lived pretty close to. Good thing we didn't have YouTube I guess.

It takes more than one chart to convert anyone to confiscate our money to pay for this nonsense. GW is dead, it will not be funded. Steven can convert all the weak minds he likes and they can all write checks from their own accounts to pay for this nonsense.

It does not matter if I have a PhD. It does not matter if I use only common sense. It does not matter if anyone posts anything or anyone answers it. It doesn't even matter if the scientists are right or wrong. What will happen will happen because no one is going to pay any money to change it. The US congress will do nothing about it ands neither will anyone else. All the whining and hand wringing will make no difference and no one else is going to destroy their economy to save the world. Cry me a river, build a bridge and get over it.

In 10 or 12 years, when the hot summer of 2011 is a faded memory, just as the hurricanes of 2004/05 are and the Dems manage to gain a majority again in the house, what are they going to do, say it is STILL a crisis?

Here is what happens. The GW movement has "jumped the shark" so to speak. In 1994 the Dems passed the Assault Weapons Ban. 2 months later they had their @sses handed to them in the election and have NEVER broached the subject again. The AWB expired and has never been revived and gun control laws all over the country have been rolled back and are still being rolled back.

The same happened to GW in 2010. President Obama, the great do nothing President of our time, did nothing about GW when he had a rock solid majority in both chambers of congress. He blew it. They blew it. GW is dead, it will not be fiancned and what has been done will be repealed little by little over the next few decades. You don't have to like it.

You can accept facts of life in a represetative Republic with elected representatives that have to keep their jobs by getting our votes, or you can read charts.
