Hello all

I would like to start this forum for those who are in the process for a IV petition for their spouse in Ghana to give updates ( waiting time after case completed at the NVC and notice of interview date, how long Each one of us have been waiting for the interview, tips for the interview, documents to renew or bring at the interview....) I believe this will help all of us in sharing our best practices

For example, my case was completed on july 7 2011. I was told to have my spouse renew the police certificate few days before her interview and to also come with an up to date tax returns.

All infos are welcomed by each one of us because it will help

Thanks to everyone

Welcome Fatou to vj and the lonnnnnnng waiting line for an interview at the US Embassy in Ghana. I appreciate your suggestion. However, what you are suggesting is what already happens on VJ. In addition, you can check out the stats here to see who is where with their case. The one thing you can do that is helpful to other members is to complete, and keep up to date, your timeline. I think you find most people are already willing to share their experiences and tips. Read through some of the past postings and keep your eyes open for new ones. VJ has it all - except an interview date for us. LOL! Take care and best of luck. :)

Thanks, Will certainly do. They site is too big for someone new on VJ. Thanks

Yes, it can be a bit overwhelming. But, the people on the site are very helpful. Make some connections and people will reach out to you. Ask questions and you will be directed to the location on the site with the information that is best for you. In the beginning, it might be easier if you at least watch the post on the Ghana portal page as well as on the main page. You are not alone here.
