Yeah My shoe size is 5 and I am going to bring at least 30 pairs of shoes! Lol Very pinoy and very Imelda Marcos. But I do worry if I should buy more closed shoes? Because it gets very cold in Illinois and I don't know if my shoes are season appropriate.

By buying the things I get shy with my fiance. I am referring to pads, make ups and other female necessities. Coz I'm gonna be unemployed during the first few months.

U don't need to bring everything u have here, just take ur favourites and things that u really need. U can buy everything here. Some things are expensive here, especially name brand clothes.. But if u r fine with regular clothes, not from designers, u can easily get them here. Also check the luggage limit with ur airlines cuz if u have too much stuff with you,you will gave to pay for overweight. As for the pads and all the female things, you can by them by yourself . If u r shy to buy it with ur husband, let him wait for you in a car. First I was shy too. So I just told my husband I need to buy smth for personal use and he was just fine. He just gave me his card and said he would wait for me inthe car. It's not such s big deal...

lol thank you for the advice. I've been here in the US for almost 3 months already and realized that it's better to buy stuff here than in the Philippines. I didn't go over the weight limit which is good. As for the female necessities I don't have a problem buying it with my husband. I'd even ask him to buy them for me lol.
