(I´m sorry for being a pain in the @ss, but we still haven´t got an answer )...

Co-sponsor is a friend of the sponsor´s mother, an acquaintance of the sponsor. No relationship between beneficiary and co-sponsor.

I-134 Question #3 for the co-sponsor. Relationship to sponsor. (Relationship between sponsor completing the form and the beneficiary).

We´re confused. Will "NONE" be ok and not cause any problems?

FRIEND is also fine too.. or as you already said, ACQUAINTANCE.

Also out of interest, you are not "owed" an answer. Your vicious little emoticon is pretty rude.

Thank you?

And for the record I think the only thing that is rude here is your comment, since my "vicious little emoticon" was meant in a good way, just to get attention, as a funny protest, not because I feel anyone owns me anything...

Is this plain enough? >>>> Something like: family friend, friend, petitioner's employer, beneficiary's aunt, etc. Whatever is the truth.

FWIW, saying "none" might not be wise depending on the embassy/consulate. The CO may want some assurance that the joint sponsor has some sort of connection to the petitioner and/or beneficiary. Rather than being someone that is likely to bail out on the responsibility.

And there has to be some sort of connection (strong or weak) or why would the person be willing to be a joint sponsor?

Thank you. Maybe I worry too much.

I was confused since what is asked is about the beneficiary´s relationship to the co-sponsor, and the there is none :)

We´re answering "USC FRIEND" and hoping for the best.
