Sign in fail" today for wife in Islamabad Pakistan you guys think will i be able to make it in August if not in early September for interview? so happy today its been long 7 months away from her plz need help. :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance:

28/05/2011 got the response for my request to modify the error in my name..== OK

Also how do i track my package when it leaves for Islamabad Pakistan any advise plz.

well she can make it late august but i highly doubt it...but for sure the first week of september...anyay, congrats

They ususally work on getting interview dates within the next few weeks for you... so there is a remote possibility they can find a late august date but most definitely september!!! Good luck!!!

Today's sign in could be due to NVC System being down for maintenance. Please check agian after 7/24 12:01 AM to be absolutely sure. I am saying this because this is the sign in failure I got and I haven't sent anything yet.

01/08/13 - Approved and GC is order for production on 1/8/14

09/12/13 - Case transferred to CSC. NOA2 received on 09/18/13

08/30/13 - Biometrics Done - No walk ins allowed at this LSC (received on 8/16/13).

08/05/13 - NOA1 (received on 08/10/13)

08/01/13 - Mailed I-751 (received on 8/2/13 - check cashed on 8/5/13)

12/28/11 - Received SSN (applied on 12/20/11, as we didn't get based on DS-230 options)
11/28/11 - Received Green Card (Expires on 10/30/13) - Welcome Letter on 11/17/11
10/30/11 - POE - Houston, TX

Chennai Consulate (40 days)
10/28/11 - Received Visa papers and Passport at VFS
10/25/11 - Interview Cleared Successfully (Spouse was not allowed in)

NVC: (90 days from NOA2 to Consulate)
08/31/11 - Case Completed (Interview 10/25/11) - Received at Chennai on 09/19/11
07/22/11 - NVC Case Number

USCIS: (92 days)

6/21/11 - NOA2 (NOA1 on 3/25/11) - took a month to get to NVC
3/21/11 - I-130 sent to USCIS Lockbox, Chicago.

Hang in there.... I did the same thing at USCIS and got a case update that we were approved but sadly i mistyped my number only to find out it was still pending .... There was somebody else who mistyped their number for the NVC as well recently but when they went back and got the correct numbers in place it said the same message you just posted...his prior message was something about an invalid case number... but when he corrected he saw the real sign in fail as the above post.

Just check back on Monday then to be sure but i bet its completed or at least very close....

I can't ever get thru on their phone lines its always busy.... we've called DOS once weekly since ap began...

They kept his passport and said minimum of 45 days saying it was something they couldnt help it was mandatory ap that most men have to endure... but sometimes I see a man not get ap just visa so i just dont understand...... this last week DOS said we were on standard review.. idk what that is but i just pray that we get thru the 45 working days and he gets visa before our anniversary in October.... it's so hard to be so far from him trying to make it on my own without him here yet...

I know how u feel but he will be here soon Inshallah our anniversary is also in October hope we celebrate to gather here inshallah i really miss her its been long 8 months n can't wait to go back there.

Send some type of registered mail that you can check on the internet USPS.

He's actually asking about when the case leaves NVC to go to the embassy...he won't have the registered mail for that. NVC will put together case files and send one package with his in it and others at the same time and express mail to embassy...you can track it using the method I posted the link to above.

But yeah definitely when sending to NVC send something with a receipt of delivery so you can track it and confirm receipt.
