is this normal? this wait until our interview has been relentless...363 days is nuts, I was wondering if there is a couple out there who had to wait longer? but i understand there is much more waiting ahead, at least we can tackle the waiting game together....Please excuse my venting..just getting harder and harder to wait until the interview, I know I should be excited we have a concrete date..but a count down like this can cause serious damage to LOVE...

I had my visa complete on 31 Mar 11, but it was too late for April's appointments. The NVC told me to call them at the close of the second week of the month, that is when the embassies close out all their appointment for the month. I called on 14 Apr and they had scheduled the interview for the end of May. They explained that the visa's are issued in the order they are received so if they are back logged you get pushed to the next month.

Best of luck on your upcoming interview date...

It honestly IS a piece of cake! If you have everything you need, it's the easiest part of the whole process. :) Good luck!

Except for the waiting - :P

Montreal truly does try one's patience in this process. Good luck at the interview. Once you get there the interview is usually so straight forward that it does seem to feel somewhat anti-climatic :).

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

Waiting so long to be with the one you love tests the relationship in a way some people will never know. It makes it stronger. And it also proves to you day after day that you would do ANYTHING for that person.

Good luck with your interview, you are so close now!

So close indeed, getting quite nervous now. I hope and pray that the Consulate front person wont frighten me and tell me I am not on the interview list or something like that, even though I have my print-put t confirming the date and time..I have read a few interview reviews where they have told a few beneficeries that their name is not on the list....this scares me, even though I have I have all the print-outs saying I am confirmed. Thanks for the good luck wishes..so close indeed.....
