I hope someone can maybe answer this question. I received on the same day an approval for my I-130 AND my

I- 129 Petitions, and I have called the NVC to see if they have received either of them and they haven't. They told me to send a scanned copy of my I-797 for my I-130 to NVCResearch@state.gov, which I have done tonight. I have read that if you get approval on both petitions, that the I -129 is canceled out. Should I pursue both petitions, or just still with the I-130? Uhg... I'm getting a little frustrated. It has only been 19 business days, and I have been told it takes 10 to 15 to 20 days for them to get it. Any suggestions anyone? Thanx.

Your I-129F case will be administratively closed and you will have the only option of proceeding with I-130. Many people here on VJ have been reporting a backlog in the USCIS-NVC case transfer the last few days. It was taking sometime for the case to be entered into the NVC system. Hang in there. You will get your case number soon.

Thank you Fazmo for the encouragement and the answer to my question... I started to wonder. I have noticed a back log to the NVC... will just feel better when I KNOW they have my Petition... thanks again for your help!

CR-1 is cheaper and gets a green card right away. You want to choose this anyways over a K-3.
