My wife and I attended the Aos interview in Texas a month ago, the IO did not separate us and asked us very few questions mostly background questions concerning each individual, nothing about our marriage and nothing about each other. Also asked me about a previous arrest,Which was a traffic incident nothing criminal. She collected my I-94 made a copy of both our I.D'S and SSN. She didn't take my EAD card nor stamp my passport. She asked us to go,she even saw us off and said we would hear from them in the mail about their decision in about 2 to 3 weeks. It has been four weeks now with no word from them and no update on the USCIS site. I AM WORRIED and wondering ...should i request for an infopass or should i just keep waiting ...this lack of communication is making me quite anxious..is this the norm?

Since you are over the 30 day mark since your interview you could call the 1-800 Information line, explain to the tier 1 person who answers that you were promised a decision in 2 weeks and it has now been a month and ask them to escalate your call to an Immigration Officer who has access to your file and can let you know its status and if there is a problem.

If that is unsatisfactory, then you could make an info pass appointment, then when you go bring additional evidence of your marriage and ask since there is a delay do they wish to have further evidence, that you would be happy to provide it if necessary? If they ask, then you have it with you. If they say they don't need anything, then ask when you can expect a decision.

Good luck - I hope you hear something positive soon.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

Thanks i just called them and they gave me a reference number and said to expect to hear from them within thirty days or to call back. Hopefully it never gets to that ...keeping my fingers crossed though.
