Waiting On Green Card Decision

My husband and I had our interview on June 13th 2011 in Orlando FL. The gentleman who interviewed us was very nice and when it was over it seemed very positive. He took my I-94 out of my passport and told us about it taking 2 weeks to get a green card and about how the next step was to start collecting evidence for removal of conditions and so on. It has now been over a month I have received nothing in the mail and my online status updater still shows my May 9th update of Interview letter sent and the dot has not moved to decision or post decision activity. How long should I wait before making phone calls or really starting to worry? I know i had one issue with being denied entry at the Canadian/US border which i explained in all my applications and at the interview. Obviously they have let me enter the USA since as I have been happily married for 7 months. Thanks for reading and any response will be helpful.

I'm not even sure you can trust that update on the USCIS website. Even when I looked on there for when I did the ROC, It said 'approved' then a few days later it said 'post decision'

I think you should give them a call at it's been well over a month now. I don't think there is anything to worry about. As for the denied entry, that's nothing to worry about either.

Good luck and I hope you get the GC very soon.

That's standard. it's always approved and then "post-decision" as the post decision activity is usually the generation of your card/letters of approval.

The USCIS site for me was 100% spot on.
