Congrats!!

We also have our interview coming up and like you, Val changed her name (marriage) before we went to SS field office to file and said we could not get a ss# since namechange does not match I-94 so we cannot get her on my bank accounts.

stressful isnt it...no one told us that we could apply for the ssn even without a greencard yet...and here in the US everything needs your ssn...whoaaaaa....i was so nervous...just make sure you bring some proof with you to the interview like utility bills,etc...and pray that the one who will do an interview with you is as kind as who did mine...i dont think if this helps but maybe the intrviewer observe all the couples,he maybe have some powers to know if they really live together as husband and wife even without looking for any written evidence...note: i handed him our marriage certificate together with my passport and he gave it back to me saying "I dont need this"<<<<---refering to out marriage cert.

anyway good luck to your application...

CONGRADULATIONS AND GOOD LUCK

thank you
