HOW DO WE KNOW IF YOU PASSED THE MEDICAL EXAM

Hi everyone,

As i am reading and searching for some questions i was wondering a few questions, we're trying to get everything ready for interview stage whenever we get that date lol nonetheless, 1st question CAN WE ACTUAL GET THE MEDICAL DONE PRIOR TO AN INTERVIEW DATE IS SCHEDULED? because I see some are getting it done before and My Husband is in HAITI and i want to know if he needs the interview paper to actually get it don and next question is i see a lot of people are talking about passing the medical but I thought he was getting a packet to bring with him to the interview and he should not open it. DOES THE DOC TELLS YOU IF YOU PASS OR FAIL? I know this might be some dumb questions but i just wanted to be clear on those things, thanks in advance. God bless. helpsmilie.gif

I dont think it's a dumb question at all! I've been lucky to always have good health care in my life so far I have always been healthy, but I, too, wondered if something was somehow wrong with my medical, would the doctor tell me?? So I just asked him, is everything in order? And he laughed and said, honey, you're as healthy as can be!

I think it's normal to ask. I dont see why the dcotor wouldn't be able confirm verbally that all is a-ok if you ask him/her. I mean, as a doctor, if something is wrong, isnt it his/her responsibilty to let you know and see that you get proper treatment?!

Thats my opinion anyway :blush:

I've been lucky to always have good health care in my life so far I have always been healthy, but I, too, wondered if something was somehow wrong with my medical, would the doctor tell me?? So I just asked him, is everything in order? And he laughed and said, honey, you're as healthy as can be!

lol thank you so much as I was writing the questions i was laughing because to me it sounded just a lil bit funny lol but thank you for your response you're so right about that and i know my husband is healthy just the normal colds every now and then but i didn't know if the doc tells you you're healthy or you had to wait until the day of the interview and the consulant tells you if something went wrong or something lol lol good.gif

I thought we were allowed to use THEIR immigration doctors in respective countries.I do know though that immunizations can be completed prior if not previouslty obtained but must show doses, dates, and signed by Medical Agent. That is as far as I know.

THANK YOU SO MUCH EVERYONE and now I have to do some more research because I thought my husband and I already paid for the VISA and I see there's a 300 something dollars for ""VISA" stated on thee embassy web page but it's friday and we are not going to let that mess up our weekend. lol TGIF everyone!!

let me get this straight so the VISA itself is 350 and the MEDICAL is also 350 which makes 700 for the interview stage for my husband? oh i'm so lost if anyone have any idea what Haiti please share. thanks helpsmilie.gif

The visa fee is the IV bill which you have paid to the NVC, you shouldn't have to pay that again.

I don't know costs of the medical exam in Haiti and I don't know how visa pickup/delivery works there, I'll defer to those who can give you Haiti specific answers.
