Hello Vjers,

I'm a bit confused. I've been told the K1 visa is valid for 6months, therefore the beneficiary needs to travel within 6months and get married within 90days. What happens if the beneficiary travels 2weeks to the expiration of the visa and gets married the next day. Do you think there will be a problem at immigration? Has anyone had this experience please?

17 Jan - Interview Notice Received

The visa is valid for 6 months. Once you use it THEN the 90 days start. You must marry within the 90days after entry.

There is nothing about "rushing the marriage because I used the visa with only 2 weeks left" The visa is void the second you use it at the CBP. Then you have 90 days to get married.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.
